Hollywood is more than just the glitz and glamour of the entertainment industry; it's a vibrant neighborhood brimming with unique attractions, events, and hidden gems. Whether you're a local or a visitor, the weekend offers the perfect opportunity to explore everything this iconic area has to offer. From live performances to outdoor adventures, here's your guide to the best things to do in Hollywood this weekend.

Hispanic Heritage Month events

From the Latino Theater Company running performances of God Will do the Rest Thursday through Sunday to grabbing some delicious cuisine across the diaspora all over Los Angeles, Hispanic Heritage Month is full of amazing cultural experiences to witness in the City of Angels. Another great event is the Baja Splash Cultural Festival at The Aquarium of the Pacific on Sept. 21 and 22, which celebrates Central and South American cultures.

Hollywood forever cemetery

Hollywood (and probably California's) most unique place to catch a movie or see a concert will be running a big concert this weekend you can attend. Brilliant band Toro Y Moi will be playing at Hollywood Forever alongside a DJ set from Zack Fox on Sept. 20 at 6pm. You can check this show out with tickets costing $50. For a night of amazing music in a unique environment, it's definitely worth it.

Movie night at Hollywood Forever cemetery is a truly unique experience.

Lavender Market Night

Running through October 27, if you want a spectacle of brilliant lights, crafts, and fantastic live tunes, please do yourself a favor and check out Lavender Night at 123 Farm in Cherry Valley. Indulge in lavender-based dishes and explore the genuinely stunning light displays on this 100-year-old farm. Tickets start at $12 and can go higher during busier days.

KCRW Summer Nights

Check out this amazing tradition where you can peep some wonderful DJs spin the hottest tunes at locations across Los Angeles. Summer is coming to an end and you can check out the final two shows at Century Park this weekend on Sept. 20 and 21. Friday will feature a slick jazz set from DJ LeRoy Downs. Saturday will turn up the heat with the History of House set performed by Latroit alongside DJs Jason Bentley and Jeremy Sole.

Summer Nights brings some of the best DJ sets to venues across town.

Enjoy the last day of summer

Summer comes to an end this weekend so why not take advantage of the daylight and warm weather at LAs remarkable beaches. Soak up the sun at Venice Beach or Santa Monica Beach and appreciate the seaside beauty that LA delivers every single day; but shines just a little brighter in the summer.

Hollywood has something for everyone, and this weekend is the perfect time to dive into its diverse offerings. Whether you're catching a live show, hiking up to the Hollywood Sign, or indulging in local flavors, your Hollywood adventure is sure to be unforgettable. So, grab your camera, put on your walking shoes, and get ready to explore one of the most iconic neighborhoods in the world.
